Cassandra Mazur
Lead Designer
From the time I was little, I was constantly drawing, making tiny books, and falling in love with the worlds I could make on paper. By high school I was obsessed with concert posters and album covers. I loved the bold DIY energy and punk rock attitude. That path eventually led me to SCAD to study Illustration, where long days in the printmaking studio cemented how much I loved hands-on creative work. I landed in children’s publishing after graduation, building prototypes for licensed characters and stories with X-Acto blades and spray glue. When the industry shifted and my department was cut, I shifted into graphic design, realizing it was the perfect bridge between my illustration roots and the visual problem-solving I’d grown to love. I’ve been building that hybrid skill set ever since.
