Nadja Mataya

I grew up in an expressive household, my father was a painter and art director and my mother, an author. It's hardly surprising that I grew up drawing on every available surface. In college my world expanded quickly. I dived into the full catalogue of classes and I fell in love with design in all its forms: fashion, graphics, architecture. However, I never lost my love of painting, drawing and physical media. The challenge of converting thoughts into a physical or digital form and learning along the way excites me to this day. I like to dip my toe into many different forms of media and even craftsmanship to deepen my pool of references. I am always striving towards the perfect unity of beautiful form and message. I see design as purpose illustrated.
