Rachel Veitch
Graphic Designer
Rachel didn't always want to be a graphic designer when she grew up.
She wanted to be a herpetologist, an artist, an explorer, a political journalist, a professional Dungeons and Dragons player, she even considered joining the ranks of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at one point. After trying several careers from political analyst to furniture salesman to interior designer to stay-at-home-mom, she had the opportunity to re-define herself once again. Thinking long and hard about how she could follow her creative passions, Rachel discovered graphic designer Aaron Draplin, and through him found a serious love for logos, branding, and design. When she met the team at Vis-a-vis Creative, she was finishing up her studies at Academy of Art University, where she earned her BFA in Graphic Design, and found herself jumping feet-first into the world of marketing and advertising.
Since joining Vis a Vis, Rachel has learned and grown as a designer and a creative team-member, and uses her nerdy hobbies, her love of muppets, and her two children as inspiration and motivation to explore new ideas and always seek innovation in her work.
